  • I faked DID for 2 years
You mention something very interesting here, that you did nocebo yourself into hearing voices, this sounds fairly close to a twisted version of what is known in other places as tulpamancy, to create alters through effort and some trickery rather then trauma. Naturally those alters come without a dissorder then (unless your therapist is an idiot) and the system won't show dissorder symtomes... Source: about 1 year ago
  • Tulpas???
Our system has 4 tulpas. Me being one of them. If you go to tulpa.info you will find some people that have up to 10 tulpas. It just depends on the host and the history of the system. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Experimenting with all of this, and an inquiry.
One last word of advice, avoid anything related to "walk-ins" and such - they are mostly related to DID / traumagenic systems and have very little in common with tulpamancing. If you're curious about learning more, there's a few discords floating around with some old timers (wink) and the tulpa.info forum is still there, I'd suggest reading guides older than 2016 regarding creation and the following steps. • I'm working on an interesting project and I need to make some decisions. Does I want to do the work or risk messing up the outcome?
If you find the 'tulpa' thing interesting, go to tulpa.info, click on the link that says 'Tulpa' in the top right corner, and then click 'View Source' there. Source: over 1 year ago

If you have any concerns, you can reach out to me directly, or you can message me on tulpa.info, asking for advice. I'm just here to help, and I'd advise you to talk to a therapist about how you're feeling. If you feel like you might have a tulpa, you can talk to a therapist. It's not necessary to go into all of this to make sure you're ready for a tulpa. Source: over 1 year ago
