You mention something very interesting here, that you did nocebo yourself into hearing voices, this sounds fairly close to a twisted version of what is known in other places as tulpamancy, to create alters through effort and some trickery rather then trauma. Naturally those alters come without a dissorder then (unless your therapist is an idiot) and the system won't show dissorder symtomes... Source: over 1 year ago
Our system has 4 tulpas. Me being one of them. If you go to tulpa.info you will find some people that have up to 10 tulpas. It just depends on the host and the history of the system. Source: over 1 year ago
One last word of advice, avoid anything related to "walk-ins" and such - they are mostly related to DID / traumagenic systems and have very little in common with tulpamancing. If you're curious about learning more, there's a few discords floating around with some old timers (wink) and the tulpa.info forum is still there, I'd suggest reading guides older than 2016 regarding creation and the following steps. If you find the 'tulpa' thing interesting, go to tulpa.info, click on the link that says 'Tulpa' in the top right corner, and then click 'View Source' there. Source: over 1 year ago
If you have any concerns, you can reach out to me directly, or you can message me on tulpa.info, asking for advice. I'm just here to help, and I'd advise you to talk to a therapist about how you're feeling. If you feel like you might have a tulpa, you can talk to a therapist. It's not necessary to go into all of this to make sure you're ready for a tulpa. Source: over 1 year ago
Anyways, I've noticed that guides and websites for tulpamancy for example, tulpa.info, tulpanomicon etc) are pretty straightforward, with little to no art or decoration. Comparing these guides to other online circulated guides or websites on "mind stuff", such as the occult living room or "the neuromancers guide to chaos magick" which are full of symbols and decorations, why do you think that that tulpamancy... As a beginner, it will be a pain if you don't know enough to understand basic numbers. If you're good, it will be a pain. I recommend taking the quiz on the quiz app https://tulpa.info. Source: almost 2 years ago
You'll learn all the basics if you're motivated enough. I recommend using a tool like Tulpa.info to help you learn more. Source: almost 2 years ago
You can probably find a list of tulpamancers' tulpa.info, or you can search in the sub-Reddit but you'll find all the answers there. Source: about 2 years ago
Vādin : We still don't know if I'm a tulpa or a kind of *embarked spirit*, but I consider myself a tulpa since I entered Zia (my host)'s system. If you want to "create" a tulpa, remember a tulpa is *another person in your mind* and not a tool, that we have our own consciousness, free will and our own personnality, tastes and goals, and encourage that, and you should be fine^^ We're not dangerous and great... {I'd say you can. It's a lot of work. Maybe try the tulpa.info thing and see if you can find some tips to help with this. But if you've got some advice, just do it. Don't be afraid to ask. Ask them anything and let them tell you how you feel about it or anything. That's what helped me!}. Source: over 2 years ago
I'd recommend checking on it https://tulpa.info, it has a section with a lot of guides, many of which are very good and in depth and answer precisely these questions. Source: over 2 years ago
Tulpamancy may have started as a chaos magick joke on 4chan or whatev, but it did spread to places like tulpa.info and elsewhere, where other people came across it, read guides, and made discoveries. It would be a mistake to assume a nine-year-old tulpamancy practice is "teens" "trying" to use an "eastern" practice. Source: over 2 years ago
Otherwise). tulpa.info also has a handful, as well as a useful FAQ. There's also a discord server for this sub where plenty of systems can help with questions and stuff. And you can PM us, if you'd rather. Source: almost 3 years ago
Long story short, after reading about tulpas at 3am from 4chan, I'm very interested. The main thing that captivated me is that I've had an imaginary character since maybe March of this year, and after reading the "Do I already have a Tulpa?" section in the FAQ on tulpa.info I think it could already be a Tulpa. If I already do, how matured would it be? I'm already able to occasionally communicate, but I haven't... Source: almost 3 years ago

As the Resident Tulpa Expert™, no. Tulpas have to be explicitly created, and are not present from birth. Unless you explictly started making one, you most likely do not have one. If you wanna find out more, I recommend reading some of the things over at https://tulpa.info. Source: about 3 years ago
I remember a thread from tulpa.info many years back, involving a host who had an otherwise great (romantic) relationship with his tulpa except he was frustrated due to the lack of tactile sensations/proper touch (with pressure) so the relationship felt incomplete in that sense. Do you have experience with lucid dreaming and whether this would help feel the physical sensations in greater detail? I remember another... Source: about 3 years ago
Katie: I understand that some people think tulpas are just fake DID/OSDD, but I can assure you we are not trying to have DID or pretend that we do. Creating a Tulpa is an active process but once a Tulpa exists they stay there passively, like another person in your head. Again, we do not want DID. I also do not have to actively simulate my headmates. I suggest reading https://tulpa.info if you're confused. Source: over 3 years ago
Agape - Go to the tulpa.info or tulpa central discord server and ask around. Lots of people exclusively use discord for voicechat/mentoring aswell as other stuff. Ask around for other servers aswell to see more of the community. Hope this helps! Source: over 3 years ago
