I use the ChefTap recipe app, so I have around 100 recipes on file to choose from. It helps avoid the "I dunno, whatta you want?" conversations. It can also generate a shopping list, but I don't use that function. Source: almost 3 years ago
Not to butt in on your butt in, but have you heard of ChefTap? It's a recipe app that you can save recipes to from the web, modify them, and if you change the number of servings it will change the amounts in the recipe accordingly. Not exactly meal prep, but cooksmarts.com provides weekly recipes with some extra efficiencies (i.e. Cook 2x chicken in the first meal, use the extra for a second meal). It also has an integrated grocery list. Its fairly pricey, but worth it IMHO. When I use it, it probably saves me an hour of finding recipes and writing a grocery list. Source: 11 months ago
Today will be my first time going shopping for groceries for a week in a very long time. I started with cooksmarts.com a few weeks ago, and I've finally gotten into it enough that I trust I will make all of the meals. The meals there, along with tracking in loseit.com have been very helpful to me.
