  It's because they can't read. I did this recently, but you can download CE from https://cheatengine.org, turn on airplane mode, and install it if you're that worried about the greyware. • Is there any way to speed up the timer some how in dead rising 1?

  If you are on PC, you could use something like Cheat Engine to speed up the timer by increasing the game speed. Another thing you could do (if not on PC) is do missions quickly and wait at where story cutscenes trigger while you do something else potentially. Source: about 1 year ago
