My journey with GPT-4 as a novice programmer has been nothing short of remarkable. I used it to write a game, and despite my limited programming knowledge, I was astonished by the results.
It makes coding suggestions, completes my code, and even identifies bugs, which has been a game-changer for me. It feels like having a co-programmer who anticipates my needs and guides me in the right direction.
When I started using ChatGPT in november of 2022, it was very smart. I used it quite a lot to help me rephrase my emails better, to tidy up my writing, to do some simple math that I'm too lazy to do myself, etc. But recently I noticed that it has become less and less helpful, it does things that I specifically asked it NOT to do, it struggles to rephrase my texts the way I want it to, it makes mistakes in basic math and provides all sorts of incorrect information. Now it annoys me way more than it helps me.
ChatGPT is a powerful, open-source language model AI tool, very fastly response query to users.

"ChatGPT" in this case means the frontends https://chat.openai.com and https://chatgpt.com, not the API. - Source: Hacker News / about 1 hour ago
ChatGPT, launched in November 2022, quickly became a sensation, amassing over a million users within its first five days. This staggering adoption rate signifies more than mere curiosity; it reflects a genuine interest in AI's potential to revolutionize writing. Built on the GPT (Generative Pre-trained Transformer) architecture, ChatGPT learns from a vast corpus of online text, enabling it to generate human-like... - Source: dev.to / about 19 hours ago

A friend of mine asked ChatGPT to suggest an open source low-code software development platform for AI solutions, and it suggested Magic. Magic is our flagship product, and when I describe what it does I tend to use a lot of words. Below is the identity definition of it. - Source: dev.to / 23 days ago
We'll use several interesting technologies to achieve this: Strapi CMS to take care of the content management and backend, Astro which is a great new technology for quickly creating blazing fast frontend apps, and ChatGPT to provide the article summaries. - Source: dev.to / 27 days ago
There are Discord servers that do group pomodoros, or websites like hours.zone, but these tend to focus on general to-do lists rather than goals for each pomodoro session. Source: about 2 years ago
I like hours.zone because we can see what each other is working on. I break up my work into lots of tiny tasks and aim to clear the whole list before the session ends, so it's a bit like a game. Source: about 2 years ago
Thanks to your post, I know of hours.zone now. I have made an account. All the best everybody who is reading this! Source: over 2 years ago
I'm serious about this and would do anything to make this buddy thing work. We can check on each other at a fixed time every day and virtually study at Hours.zone. Source: over 2 years ago
- I use a website called Hours with friends so we can hold each other accountable. The time lapse trick is one too - I took this video specifically because I was struggling to focus - because I don't want my time lapses to be of me wandering off onto Reddit when I should be studying. This post was part of my accountability for myself :-). Source: over 2 years ago
