  • is it possible to use eShop balance funds for physical 1st party games?
No, the eShop and the Nintendo Store on nintendo.com are different entities. Source: 12 months ago
  • I can't believe they are selling video games for $70!
Go to nintendo.com and look at switch games. Source: about 1 year ago
  • is upgrading worth it at this point?
You can find announced releases at nintendo.com. Personally my view is if Nintendo hasn't announced a release, then it might as well not exist. Source: about 1 year ago
  • What's an experience you've had that no longer exists?
Browsing the internet before google. Immagine trying to find sites to read without a search engine. nintendo.com sega.com pokemon.com trying to find relevant domain names to your interest yet have it yield almost no reward, a basic site outlining their products. Source: about 1 year ago

When you find... Source: about 1 year ago

Props for your resourcefulness, but you could just use Cockatrice, or XMage. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Not Magic, not Pokémon: Moonfarmer, our own cardgame!

Https://cockatrice.github.io/ - haven't used this too much myself but this one does have built in servers and decent controls. Source: about 1 year ago
  • I sometimes miss the fun of low-cost Magic, but have realized the hobby is really expensive. Are there any low-cost ways to play?
My favorite is Cockatrice even though you sound like a mostly in person seeking fellow. It is a web application that is like a card game simulator, it plays magic and can auto update to show you card images, doesn't cost a dime and theoretically could play other games like Android Netrunner if you really wanted to, downside is it sometimes changes domains if the authorities try and shut it down, but the last one...
