Sounds good. Another thing that has worked well for me twice in the past year when we bought new cars is to go to carmax.com or take it in to get a quote. From talking to dozens of Mazda and Honda dealers in the past year consistently I'd hear "oh, we rarely can beat Carmax offers". Hey folks! As you certainly know used car prices are quite high. My BMW lease is expiring in 10 days and I could make like ~$8K if I buy the car and resell it. I would have to sell stocks to get the cash tho, and I don't want to do that. I also don't want to burn cash on sales taxes in the process.
