  • How big the difference about of this 3 lenses?
I compared it to the website cameradecision.com. Source: 6 months ago
  • Fuji X-S20 vs X-T5 vs A7 IV
In the end it is your decision, I like using cameradecision.com to compare specs on different cameras, if there's too many: Oh, don't like that! points, than you're probably able to make a decision. For me the lack of stabilisation, no lens breathing correction, the smaller EVF and lower ISO mean that I would go A7IV but I heavily lean to photography anyway. Source: 10 months ago
  • Will I get a buyer's remorse with Lumix GX85 vs iPhone 14 vs Sony A6000?
The Sony has the larger sensor followed by the Lumix and then the iPhone. This affects depth of field (aka bokeh, or blurry backgrounds) and low light performance. The iPhone uses software tricks to enhance its performance but in no way does it actually do what the Sony and Lumix does. If you rule out the iPhone now your down to two camera models that have varying functions. You can go to... Source: 10 months ago
  • D850 brand new for $2250 worth it? or something else!
Think about what is important for you (e.g. resolution, fps, 4k video, ...), then consult with a site like https://cameradecision.com to figure out which of the three best meets your needs. BTW, With many people switching to mirrorless these days, you should be able to get a used D850 for significantly less than $ 2250. Source: 11 months ago
  • [OC] Made this reel for Instagram, got less than 1k views. Posting here to get some reach if my video is worth getting? Ignore the background music choices. If anyone's wondering the video was shot on Nikon D3500.
Thanks! Back in 2020 Nikon D5300 was one of the best you can get for that money. Mine D3500 is discontinued so you can't get it - although it was the cheapest DSLR at that time and value for money compared to canon. See, at some point you won't complain about your gear as there is always a workaround but in the starting you need a decent one to start with. I'll recommend saving more for some canon ones or maybe... Source: 12 months ago

  • Which camera should I buy?
Welcome to the community. It's very cool that you're thinking of getting back into digicams. One way to get more of the retro look is to get the older cameras. An amazing resource to look up the date of cameras is https://digicamfinder.com From your list I would go for that powershot. It has settings that you can apply to get some really great results. I even have a video on my YouTube that explains which... Source: 5 months ago
  • Just scored a barely used, mint Canon Powershot Pro 1 for $40 with everything in the box plus extra batteries. Lucky day!
Love the packaging. My quick research at digicamfinder.com shows there was only ever a Pro1 (not Pro2, 3, etc). And that was way back in 2004. I guess this camera was too middle of the road and didn't sell. People either wanted the compact line of PowerShots or the "real" pro levels of the EOS Rebel, I guess. Source: 11 months ago
