Calm Radio mentions (1)

  • I made an app that uses white noise and nature sounds to help people sleep, focus, or study. Been used by over 30K people. Open source on GitHub.
I will do a self link but you can try https://calmradio.com/ I know a lot of people is using to sleep. But to go back in the thread, it's really a cool application! Great work. Source: about 1 year ago

Coffitivity mentions (34)

  • Ambient noise player to block out distracting noise and help you focus and concentrate.
Is this like https://coffitivity.com/. Source: 5 months ago
  • Do I just lie about wfh?
With that said, if you aren't working with confidential data, why not? I am a coder working with public open source, so I work wherever I want. I rarely go out anymore, though. It's a pain. I tend to use noise generators to get lost at home, like Coffitivity.com. They have a bunch of noises to simulate a coffee shop. I can see how that wouldn't work for everyone, though. Just an option. • Do you listen to music when you are studying or doing mentally straining tasks that require focus?
Two things work very well for me. First is the sounds of a coffee shop. If I can’t have the real thing, I use https://coffitivity.com. Source: 11 months ago
  • Do noise canceling headphones help you focus better in general while studying?
Https://coffitivity.com - I’ve been using this sometimes with and sometimes without headphones. Also I like the soundscapes from the Calm App. But icl I don’t think the type of headphones make a difference - considering you’re in a quite environment already? Source: 11 months ago
  • Why am I severely more productive in a coffee shop?
You can try mimicking it with https://coffitivity.com/. Same noises, but not the same visual. Source: about 1 year ago
