   BEST APP FOR PRIVATE CHATTING

   I AM USING WHATSAPP SINCE 2015 AND STILL CURRENTLY USING IT HELPS ME TO GET IN TOUCH WITH MY FRIEND AND RELATIVES AND NOW IT ALSO HELPS ME TO DO PAYMENT VIA WHATSAPP.

  I am installing a small deployment of VOIP phones for my church (<10 phones) and plan to set them up with callcentric.com for now. Future plans may involve transitioning to IncrediblePBX/FreePBX as that is what I use for my own hobby purposes.   You still can get a number from commercial SIP providers and use very cheap SIP calls. Examples: anveo.com ($0.50/month + $0.01/min for inbound and outbound calls), callcentric.com (similar pricing, may be slightly more expensive) etc. Source: about 1 year ago

  I believe web.whatsapp.com is being blocked by local telecom companies in order to protect their duopoly and keep Oman in tech--stone-age. If fewer people know how else the rest of the world uses the internet, then they don't have to make an effort to improve their offerings. Omantel is definitely blocking this web.whatsapp.com.
