Check out callcentric.com. A little more expensive but very similar feature set. CNAM is included in the cost of your DIDs. Source: 10 months ago
I transferred my US number to callcentric.com and downloaded the Zoiper softphone to operate it. It works fine most of the time, but can be a little flakey. Getting texting is important for banks and such for login confirmations, so ensure you get that. Source: 11 months ago
I used callcentric.com for a long time. Source: about 1 year ago
I am installing a small deployment of VOIP phones for my church (<10 phones) and plan to set them up with callcentric.com for now. Future plans may involve transitioning to IncrediblePBX/FreePBX as that is what I use for my own hobby purposes. I have been going back and forth between Yealink and Polycom phones and reading a lot about them. I personally own a Yealink T46S that I like, but wondered if the Polycom... Source: about 1 year ago
You still can get a number from commercial SIP providers and use very cheap SIP calls. Examples: anveo.com ($0.50/month + $0.01/min for inbound and outbound calls), callcentric.com (similar pricing, may be slightly more expensive) etc. Source: about 1 year ago
Callcentric.com shows site is down when I tried to check them out. Are they legit? Source: about 1 year ago
Step 1, go sign up an account on callcentric.com. You don't need to pay anything until you start selecting services, but you won't do that until you get your Analog Telephone Adapter (e.g. a SIP ATA) device. They're about $20-30 on Amazon, and you can probably find one with overnight delivery. Source: about 1 year ago
I'm using callcentric.com in the US. I'm paying around $4 per month. I'm using a SIP wireless phone I bought on amazon. Or you can install a free sip app on a cell phone if you have an extra. Source: over 1 year ago
I am going to make sure my google voice number which technically is free has access going forward. For others a voip number with someone like callcentric.com costs around $2-5 a month with sms might be the way to go or retain access the personal phone. Source: almost 2 years ago
Get an Obi 200 and configure it for Google Voice PLUS a service like Les.net, VoIP.ms or callcentric.com (get a $1 per month USA residential number here). That way if Google Voice goes away you need only forward the GV number to callcentric. You can always port the GV number out to that VoIP provider later. Source: about 2 years ago
Voip.ms, callcentric.com are some of the providers. Source: about 2 years ago
You can try to port the number into an Internet Telephone Service Provider (ITSP) like callcentric.com or voip.ms. Source: about 2 years ago
I have been able to register my other SIP trunk to callcentric.com, no problem. In/Out calls work fine. Source: over 2 years ago
The way I read it, existing service will still work but new services won't be provisioned after that 2023 date. There are other options like voip.ms and callcentric.com that will work and support e911 but they are not free services. Source: over 2 years ago
