The only other app I've ever considered in the same league as Fantastical was Calendars (from the same people who make Spark), but I didn't care for the UI. There are third party apps that can show Calendar and Reminders together. If you want one that is primarily a calendar but can also show your reminders, look at Fantastical or Calendars. I am all for your efforts. I am very keyboard centric. My sweet spot is macOS keyboard shortcuts. Especially those as defined by BBEdit. But I have learned from all the platforms I have worked on.
