The 13 best calendar apps for Android and iOS help you organize a chaotic day
Calendars 5 is so named because it’s the fifth version of Readdle’s Calendars app, meaning its developer has had a lot of time to invest in this particular app and its features. The current incarnation of the app works with both the iPhone and iPad, allowing you to keep track of your events across iOS devices. It’s a simple feature, but an invaluable one for those deep in...

  • Fantastical is increasing it's subscription by 2$ a month....
The only other app I've ever considered in the same league as Fantastical was Calendars (from the same people who make Spark), but I didn't care for the UI. It has recently turned into a subscription also, but it costs less per year than Fantastical costs per month. I'm not sure which features are free and which are paid. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Fantastical is increasing it's subscription by 2$ a month....
IMO Fantastical is way overpriced. Try Readdle’s Calendar. I think it has all the features you’re after. https://readdle.com/calendars. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Reminders not showing in calendar?
There are third party apps that can show Calendar and Reminders together. If you want one that is primarily a calendar but can also show your reminders, look at Fantastical or Calendars. If you want one that is primarily a reminders app but can also show calendar events, look at GoodTask. Source: over 1 year ago

  • TOTP Codes in the Terminal
KeePassXC[1] password manager supports TOTP and I use it for that purpose in addition to storing passwords. It never made sense to me to use an app like Authy. [1] . - Source: Hacker News / 2 months ago

  • Help a noob out, please.
For the internet, use a password manager like keepassxc with a strong password. Source: 5 months ago
  • Google-hosted malvertising leads to fake Keepass site that looks genuine
When you're at a point where you're relying on a display name to make security-critical decisions, you've already lost. Character substitutions like ķeepass or ƙeepass or keypass are at least possible to spot if you know the name of the product, but not the full URL. But there are many ways to create lookalike domains that don't change the product name: https://keepass.org https://keepass.net https://keepass.info... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
  • Google announces passwordless by default: Make the switch to passkeys
    > People love to hate on passwords but the reality is that for many circumstances (threat models) they are the best compromise. You can make them more than strong enough (take 32+ bytes out of /dev/random and encode however you like, nobody will ever brute force that in this universe) and various passwords managers solve the problem of re-use (never reuse a password). > And it comes with the benefit that you... - Source: Hacker News / 7 months ago
