SuperBetter is at heart a simple and transformative idea – we can use the same strengths naturally displayed in game play to confront real-life challenges, build skills, manage stress & practice self-care.
SuperBetter creates a mental framework that uses the psychology of game play in all of life. Playing SuperBetter means bringing a gameful mindset to real-life - challenging yourself, going for epic wins, adopting a secret identity, completing quests, battling bad guys, activating power-ups and checking-in with allies. The 7 rules for living gamefully is a framework to be stronger, happier, braver & more resilient in everyday life.
Invented by researcher & game designer Jane McGonigal, SuperBetter is backed by science. In a randomized controlled trial at University of Pennsylvania playing SuperBetter for 30 days was associated with significant improvements in mental health and resilience.
The SuperBetter app makes it simple to go for epic wins, track your gameful strengths and build your whole-person resilience - mental, social, emotional & physical. Proven results in 10 minutes a day.
SuperBetter is for youth, teens, young adults & everyone who wants to unlock their heroic potential with the power of living gamefully. Over 1 million people have played SuperBetter.

I force clients who want to talk to me to book a call. I use cal.com (free) and my Google Calendar (which its linked to) only allows calls on specific days/times. I have a few "Call Blocks" where they can book. That let's me do calls in a small section of my week, with ample downtime to recover the rest of the week. I'm still learning how many calls a day I can handle. Currently anything more than 2 is too much. Source: 6 months ago
