Get caffeine.exe from this link (bottom of the page). It's just an exe file. No installation. It sits in the bottom right corner. It will press F15 every 59 seconds. F15 is not on your keyboard but is a remnant of old operating systems. It's never used by any software either. Source: almost 2 years ago

I have the 15-inch 2015 MBPro. The fan noise was iNsAnE. I was able to fix it using Turbo Boost Switcher. A replacement battery can be purchased for less than $100. Installing it isn't super easy but it's totally doable with some patience and persistence. Good luck! Source: 12 months ago

I’ve got a yellow coloured MacBook Pro plastic case that reflects sun. I also turn off turbo power boost (if yours is an Intel model it may do this). Close everything else and run waveform drawing speed at medium or slow. http://tbswitcher.rugarciap.com. Source: about 1 year ago
