C3.js Reviews

5 top picks for JavaScript chart libraries
C3.js is another easy-to-use JavaScript library for creating charts. It uses the D3 graphics library, so to create a chart with it, we’ll need both D3 and the C3 library itself.

  • Graph libraries
I've been using https://c3js.org/ forever with vue. Works with v3 just fine. However, I'm very interested to see what others are using. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • Teclis – Non-commercial web search
Yes! I found https://c3js.org/ which is exactly what I want for my personal project. - Source: Hacker News / about 2 years ago
  • [OC] I spent the last 18 months of lockdown pouring my soul into a website that allows you to visualize virtually every U.S. company's international supply chain. E.g. What products, how much, which factories and where does Walmart import from? (Just type a company in the search box)
C3.js is actually something that I like to use on top of D3, specifically for POC's and things like that. It wraps the D3 code in something a little more semantic, provides an API for updating the chart/data, and makes the UI easier to style after the chart is generated. Purely a preference thing, but might be useful in some cases. Source: over 2 years ago

  • Widely Used Data Display and Analysis Libraries
C3 is a very efficient D3 based chart visualization library. C3 library is fast to render, has good compatibility across browsers, and is very simple to integrate. If you're looking for no-frills, C3 is a decent choice. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago

  • Interview synthesis tools?
Go back through a second time Code themes / pull insights/ double check for keywords tag accuracy Use Dovetail’s “charts” to review various tags (it will show you how many tags per word in various chart options, none are great.) Export desired csv’s from Dovetail Charts to free online data viz software like https://rawgraphs.io Boom. I’m sure there are better ways but that’s what I got! Source: about 2 years ago
  • What type/style of chart is this?
Sankey is probably the most common name (after Captain Matthew Henry Phineas Riall Sankey who apparently made them to study energy flows in steam engines). But I've also heard it referred to as an alluvial diagram, for example in https://rawgraphs.io/. Source: over 2 years ago
  • Show HN: I made a data visualization desktop app
This seems quite similar to RawGraphs: https://rawgraphs.io/ Both seem to provide a similar interface for dragging in a CSV file and constructing a chart, but RawGraphs is open-source, and can be used in the browser without installing anything (or the code can be downloaded and served locally). The main advantage of Daigo over RawGraphs seems to be that it supports publishing multiple charts as a dashboard.... - Source: Hacker News / over 2 years ago
