If I can add a suggestion to your pile, in my story, my current idea is to use a Wordpress theme called Bricks. It has a similar layout to Webflow, which I find interesting. They have perfect Lighthouse scores at the outset. The only reason my projects dipped below 95 on performance scores were because of heavy third-party scripts, but you may be able to dodge those. If I had to do this, I'd probably try to find a youtube video of the game that happens to have the character in it, take a screenshot of the character, and then use a tool like https://removal.ai/ to extract the sprite. Source: 12 months ago
At this point, I will need to process all of the images that have a white background with remove.bg. I processed a few images with both remove.bg and removal.ai. Try making the image darker or scarier using filters. Your headshot could use those white outlines or a brush effect to separate it from the background.
