And speaking about Bluetally, which is a necessary part of my workflow because it literally helps me keep track of all our assets across multiple projects. It's been especially invaluable in managing my team's IT assets as we transition into remote work. It allows us to view our current inventory numbers and easily identify which items need replacing or upgrading. Not only does this help reduce costs by utilizing... Source: about 1 year ago
BlueTally is my second choice due to its user-friendly interface and simplicity. What I love about this are all the integrations (like Intune, Jamf, Kandji, Jira, ++) and how easy it looks to setup. It's also much cheaper than NinjaOne. But there's a tiny hiccup - no mobile app, which is kind of annoying if I want to check in on the go. Source: about 1 year ago
Check out BlueTally, it's fully cloud based, super user friendly to setup and use, integrates with Intune, Jamf, Kandji, Azure AD, Okta, Jira (+++) and automatically pulls warranty info for Dell and Lenovo devices! Source: about 1 year ago
It’s nice to see Bluetally mentioned because it is a decent tool, especially as a cloud-based asset management tool. We use it at my workplace and I got that recommendation from a thread I saw actually. Going in, we weren’t sure what to expect and at the time, they needed to work on some updates but I will say that it was easy to introduce. It’s fully cloud-based so it only took us a few minutes to get started and... Source: over 1 year ago
I use BlueTally, you can check that out. There’s an online demo you can try. You can also customize kits for bulk checkouts if you have regulars that you supply to and they pretty much order the same thing all the time which is also very helpful and now you can let external vendors into your BlueTally account so they can see what assets they’ve supplied. PHPIPAM does that, plus hardware inventory and racks (you assign the IP to a pice of hardware then put it on a rack and get rack diagram). It does also vLANs, VRF, circuits... Source: about 1 year ago
Given he info you provided, I would say phpipam. It is web base and very light on resources. I don't know if this counts in your portability requirement. https://phpipam.net/. Source: about 1 year ago
Other than that, we use PHP IPAM at work. https://phpipam.net It’s fine. Source: about 1 year ago
Because the IP address are part of the programming for our room control systems(Crestron mainly) if the address changes then we lose control of that piece of equipment. Can phpipam.net be run locally or does it need it's own server? I don't know how much our networking team will be willing to get involved. Source: about 1 year ago
