You can already do that with an iPad (sans fat OS). If you're using Blink Shell (https://blink.sh) the external display is independent of what's on the iPad too, which works really neatly. This is the exact setup I used as my main dev machine in a previous role. Would be very nice to see if this works on the new iPhones. A thin client with decent security in your pocket with keyboard/mouse/display at both home and... - Source: Hacker News / 8 months ago
I use blink[0] with a 40% keyboard to develop linux program on a vps. If you want to do programming without wireless interenet, another option is to connect a raspberry pi zero 2w (with usb gadget mode enabled) to the usb c port using a single usb cable. Then the rpi zero will share a ethernet network with iOS device. Then you can use blink (again) to mosh to raspberrypi.local to do the development on the pi. There's also Blink [1] which includes a local shell (limited), ssh and mosh support, and comes with a local-first, but remote-dependent, vscode implementation. I've tried tawk.to and created separate agent profiles for each dealer but I cannot find how to restrict access only to their listings so not everyone can join the others live chat as it happens atm. Has anyone tried something like this before to guide me ? Any suggestions? Source: 11 months ago
Also, if possible, find their IP from tawk.to and block it in your firewall, or ask your hosting provider to block it. Source: about 1 year ago
I've used tawk.to in the past, but I wondered what else is out there / what others use and recommend. Source: about 1 year ago
Okay. I have deleted my cookies and browsing data. That should be safe enough measure. right? Although I am unable to access tawk.to website now. Maybe they have blocked my IP or something. Source: over 1 year ago
I'm currently using tawk.to to chat with my visitors, but I would rather use whatsapp as a chat mechanism. There are a lot of plugins for that, but I'm not sure which one would suit me best. Preferably free or not too expensive, doesn't need to have a lot of functions. What do you guys suggest? Thanks in advance! Source: over 1 year ago
