I moved from 1Password to Bitwarden about half a year ago. I never looked back, and I've never missed anything. The UI might be a touch clunkier than 1Password, but it's still good and perfectly usable on the whole. What is more, it is open-source and people can inspect its code.
Based on our record, bitwarden seems to be a lot more popular than OpenIn.app. While we know about 604 links to bitwarden, we've tracked only 6 mentions of OpenIn.app. We are tracking product recommendations and mentions on various public social media platforms and blogs. They can help you identify which product is more popular and what people think of it.
Bitwarden — The easiest and safest way for individuals, teams, and business organizations to store, share, and sync sensitive data. - Source: dev.to / 3 months ago
For passwords and 2FA I use Bitwarden in combination with a self-hosted Vaultwarden service (for imcreased security and use of pro features for free). Source: 5 months ago
First it's good to use a password manager, however it's not a good idea to use the one built into your browser. I would suggest switching to BitWarden or similar (not LastPass). Source: 5 months ago
I just noticed today when relogging in on Bitwarden (I couldn't sync my vault) that it said "Logged in as [email] on __$2__" instead of "Logged in as [email] on bitwarden.com". I don't know why or how that happened, and I have no idea what it means. Did I screw up somehow? Just to be clear, I did login and just after I logged in my brain realized that it said "__$2__" instead of what it should say. Source: 5 months ago

It doesn’t directly address your concern but you might like https://loshadki.app/openin/. Source: 11 months ago
Rectangle Pro can do that, if you pair it with advanced bettertouchtool triggers. But I don't think your solution is optimal, it'd be much easier to create a reddit.com webapp with e.g. fluid.app, make so every reddit link is handled via the reddit webapp using e.g. openin.app, and just store its size and location in app window presets which Rectangle or BTT can do easily. Another way to do it is to use a “browser chooser” app. This is an app that you set as your default browser. It’s not a browser itself, but instead it sends your links to your preferred browser. There are a bunch of these apps. I use Velja. OpenIn is another good one. Source: over 1 year ago
Other great apps I always use is Rocket, Rectangle, PastePal, NextDNS (more like a service than app), OpenIn, Overkill. Source: almost 2 years ago
I use https://loshadki.app/openin/ worth every penny. Source: almost 2 years ago
