  • Building a BitClout Social Network Visualization App With Memgraph and D3.js
BitClout is a new decentralized social network that lets you speculate on (the worth of) people and posts with real money. It's built from the ground up as its own custom blockchain. Its architecture is similar to Bitcoin's, except that it supports complex social network models like posts, profiles, follows, speculation features, and much more at a significantly higher throughput and scale. • Elon Musk’s texts reveal what led to Twitter bid, before deal fell apart
This is already a thing, it's an interesting niche concept, but the biggest downfall IMO is you can never delete anything since the blockchain is public and tracks all changes. https://bitclout.com/. Source: over 1 year ago
  • I'm building a platform that allows people to invest in upcoming entrepreneurs
Is this different than BitClout? https://bitclout.com/. Source: about 2 years ago
  • Why do they hide the price of deso?
You can't sell on the bitclout.com node. Also, there is no "official" site. To the network, all nodes are equal, whether they are old or new: the DeSo foundation also doesn't call any node "official"- though the node they personally maintain is node.deso.org. You can set up your own node and sell for 10$ for one $DeSo (formerly called 1 $Clout) if you wanted or at 10000$ for a Deso if you wanted. You can see a... Source: about 2 years ago
  • Why do they hide the price of deso?
A lot of nodes do show the price below that as well- for instance diamondapp, which more people actually use than bitclout.com: https://imgur.com/a/iDhOOKS. Source: about 2 years ago

  • Ultra Fast Full Stack Development (Mobile\Web, a guide, please critique)
Shuffle.Dev Sometimes you want to slap together a nice looking website quickly. That's what I really love about shuffle.dev, you can bring all your components together, export as react components and just copy and paste, and adjust the styles to the brand. And it uses tailwind. • Show HN: I built a website editor for TailwindCSS
Your landing page is ugly to be honest, half of links in the footer goes nowhere - this is unprofessional and lazy. There's no clickable demo, not even overview of components. Why do you lauch your product at current state? Why submit it to HN? There are plenty of other web builders based on Tailwind or Bootstrap, often they have free tiers, and you're charging 249$, for what? For 300$ you can get Tailwindui* from... - Source: Hacker News / about 1 year ago
  • Loginbait.com: My first and small side project.
Use some website builder or similar and don't waste time with coding a website. I used shuffle.dev for the landing page and 90% of the content & design I could use the editor on their website. The other 10% was customizing the HTL/CSS. So, at the end it was a nice experience and I will dig further into the NoCode world. I don't like to spend too much time with CSS and styling. • Looking to switch from Elementor pro. What do you guys recommend?
Tailwind components, or one-time payment with https://shuffle.dev, they are planning for WordPress plugin, not everyone in the WordPress community know about it. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Developers that created websites from scratch in the past and then tried Webflow, what was your experience?
Webflow has nice libraries of premade blocks/components. I'm talking about entire sections like navbar or hero, not small elements like buttons or inputs. If someone writes website e.g. In Tailwind, there are services like Shuffle.dev and TailwindUI where you can also copy premade blocks, but in my experience they often don't work as intended and require a lot of adjustments.
