Sometimes at tough times I want to go back to a verse my pastor offered but I usually forget which ones later. I can email him but at 1am I just want to find the verse, read it, and contemplate the situation. More likely is that I'm talking with a friend and they have an issue that I know my Pastor had a verse for and I just can't remember it. You can go to look up Bible reading plans on the youversion Bible website or app, and get to know your King there...but to be saved, you must confess Him as King, turn away from your sin and agree with Him that your sin is evil.
