Sometimes at tough times I want to go back to a verse my pastor offered but I usually forget which ones later. I can email him but at 1am I just want to find the verse, read it, and contemplate the situation. More likely is that I'm talking with a friend and they have an issue that I know my Pastor had a verse for and I just can't remember it. Is the end goal to have a completely open, public domain version of Matthew Henry's commentary? I know there are complete versions of the commentary on things like Logos or biblestudytools.com, but I imagine they are not in public domain (though BibleStudyTools is free to read). There are study Bibles out there with built-in commentaries on the bottom of the page. There are also freely available commentaries at biblestudytools.com which are over 100 years old and use the KJV. They are not perfect but they are useful. Source: over 1 year ago
