I recommend googling lots of "best of" lists..like "best thrillers", "best movies of the 90s", etc. Also the site https://bestsimilar.com is really helpful cause you can enter any movie and it'll give you a list of similar ones. Source: about 1 year ago

I have found sites like https://bestsimilar.com/ where you give a movie as input and get some movies like the one you plugged in. My problem is that I don't always know what I like to watch. Also, I found an AI that can recommend movies based on your letterbox watched films but I think it just recommends top movies. Source: almost 2 years ago

If you don't want to trust a link from a stranger then you could use https://kinolien.github.io/gitzip/ where you can put the URL of a github folder and it'll give you a zip of the contents, so if you want the belle dark sub mod then you would paste in: https://github.com/Historical-Expansion-Mod/Greater-Flavor-Mod/blob/master/GFM%20Belle%20Dark.mod. Yeah, on GitHub there's no download directory button or something like this. You could for example use GitZip to download it zipped, just paste URL to that directory in there and download. Source: about 3 years ago
