This season's Holiday Drive has definitely been more about learning the ropes of running it as a bona fide non-profit. Someone suggested we hook up Amazon Smile, so I did. Another user wanted to be able to do employer matching, so I signed us up for the clearing house his company used. Many employers use https://benevity.com/ to manage the charitable giving that employees can do. Benevity organizes (legit) nonprofits into like a big index, and allows employees to donate directly, using paypal, payroll deduction, cc, etc. depending on the employer, they can also match what an employee is donating, making it a big win for the nonprofit.
