I settled on the "Before Launcher" - Looks like all the other minimalist launchers, really - I chose all icons to be text based but the good thing is you can still merge them like that into folders. I can also hide apps with this launcher ( I know there are other launchers that can do that but most of them are still too fanciful for me - I used Nova Launcher for a long time and it's great but doesn't have all the... I find that reflecting on my experiences and going out of my way to really analyze the pitfalls and things done correctly helps a lot. I normally use coggle.it to mind map the whole experience overview and then which elements of the project seemed to be improvements and which parts where potentially poorly executed.
