I believe so, https://client.badlion.net. Clicking on Mac Download it does say Intel so I do believe it should run, if you have any issues running it join the Badlion Discord for support :). - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago
Minecraft is a surprisingly poorly optimised game. I have a GTX 1070 and an i7 10700k and without optifine I run at around 60fps max settings. I suggest installing the client Badlion: https://client.badlion.net/. It's known for boosting FPS and you have many different choices in boosting fps and such. Also if you want to increase FPS, I suggest turning off all animations. They can reduce FPS quite badly. - Source: Reddit / 3 months ago

I would recommend GDLauncher to you. It automatically sets up Java 8 and 16 for you when you first start it and you can easily set how much RAM you want to allocate to Minecraft. - Source: Reddit / 7 days ago
Or give GDLauncher a try. It can automatically install modpacks, and you can add ur own mods in. It's really easy to use. I usually go with MutliMC since it's faster at startup (built on C++) compared to GDLauncher (built on Electron + React), but both are just as good as each other. - Source: Reddit / 11 days ago
I highly recommend people give mods a go. If you use a launcher downloading them is be easy, I recommend this one: Https://gdevs.io. - Source: Reddit / 17 days ago
Honestly Just get GDlauncher or MultiMC , both eliminate the need for the overwolf FTB hybrid. GDlauncher is pretty straight forward , I dont personally use MultiMC but alot of people do so theres bound to be guides on yt . - Source: Reddit / 17 days ago
I would recommend switching to MultiMC or GDLauncher. Preferably GDLauncher, it's very beginner-friendly. There you can easily set how much RAM you want to make available to Minecraft in the settings. - Source: Reddit / 26 days ago
