We are a Juniper shop, but we use BackBox. I believe they have great Cisco support as well. I use it to push out mass changes, update firmware, pull inventory reports and a lot more. Their support is awesome and they will write custom scripts for you when needed. Source: about 2 years ago
Another way would be to use nmap from a Linux machine or virtual machine using: $ sudo nmap 192.168.0.1/24 where the subnet address is replaced with yours.
