   Azuracast is Gold

   I used Centova cast before switching to Azuracast and all I can say is that this software is worth praise and efforts to better it. It offers everything Centova does and even goes and extra mile. The dashboard is pretty straightforward and my playlists always play. One needs to really know what they are doing setting up schedules and tweaking liquidsoap settings. Live broadcasts are seamless too. I use BUTT/ Sam Broadcaster/Radio Dj. And to imagine that this is all open source... major respect to the developers. 5 * from me.

   It is the Worst

   Nothing Works. The edit function does not work. The fade in and fade out function is non existent. The Playlists and scheduled shows never happen. It is honest a total crap shoot as to what works and what does not using this awful program. I cannot believe it is legal to resell it. Its mind blowing how bad it is and its because its a crap shoot as to what works or not.

• Advice needed for my own music/radio server.

  Recently tried azuracast to do something similar yo what you did. I have it running as a docker on my raspberrry pi and it streams music on my local network accessible on any device. I believe it can be used to run an actual radio station live but I havent dug that deep into it yet.   I upgraded Cubase to 13, which essentialy adds 6 months to your rent but now I can't use Cubase at all. It says the license expired, and when I click "renew" in the Activation Manager it just brings me to splice.com which says that my license is active... Source: 7 months ago

  Lastly, if you have exhausted your 60 day trial, and are in need of Pro, but can't spend at the moment, splice.com offers a rent-to-own plan for Cubase Pro. It is always at full price though and never goes on sale, so keep that in mind. Although, it's good to pay $17 for a couple months till the sale arrives, and then crossgrade to it. • Where do you get your drums?

• Looking for free or cheap one shot drum and cymbal samples for metal/rock/djent

  I like using Splice. They have tons of one shots and loops and it all drags-and-drops right into your DAW. You can probably get a free trial to get what you need, then cancel. Source: about 1 year ago
