With regard to encryption tools, I use AxCrypt, which is cross-platform, but isn't free in that form. It would though encrypt each file in-place, without need for a dedicated folder or vault and encrypted file will sync with OneDrive, via the standard sync client. It would also allow you to share encrypted files with others, without giving them your encryption password. Source: over 2 years ago
No.... gmx.com. Changing it to Gmail as soon as this hassle is over. Source: about 1 year ago
When connected I can not send emails with my gmx.com account. I get a failure. If I switch off SS and try again - it goes through. Source: about 1 year ago
I have reason to suspect that a bunch of my data using a "gmx.com" email is bots- how can I make a filter variable to filter out any email that ends in gmx.com? Source: almost 2 years ago
First I tried with gmail but they have removed the allow less secure apps thing and in order to use the smtp you have to turn on 2fa and use their api which I'm not gonna do. So I tried using different mail providers like mail.com gmx.com inbox.lv fastmail.com But every time I try to send a mail I connect to the server but get authentication failed exception. What could be the problem? Source: almost 2 years ago
If you just want to use it for sending notifications from your server, create an account with a provider that allows password login. I use gmx.com for that. They allow password login and have IMAP/SMTP access for free. Source: almost 2 years ago
