I always consult an attorney in any situation that remotely warrants it. I go on a referral site like avvo.com (think that's it) and buy a cheap, quick consult (like 20 or 30 bucks). I pick the attorney's brain, get all my concerns out. In your case, I would try to find out what I could say to threaten him back, I mean a legal threat of course, or else I'd try to find out specific legal language that I could use... We found ours on avvo.com, there's a ton of reviews on there and some attys are absolutely slaughtered in the reviews so you have a pretty good indication the site is legitimate, lol. It's a referral and review site for attorneys in all areas of practice, not just immigration. Source: 5 months ago
