That sucks, really feel for you. Luckily have never been in this position myself but I assume utilizing free softwares/extensions could be a big help (given that your IT wont block them). Completely avoid. Each job/manager has a different style and will onboard you in their own "special" methods anyway. The biggest key is nailing your interview prep and getting up to speed on the tools sales teams use. You can learn how to use them on youtube/online. Common standardized ones are Salesloft, Outreach.io, salesforce, hubspot. Get familiar with smaller tools to increase your tool belt as well like... Source: 11 months ago

Definitely speak to recruiters (Private Equity Recruiting is the top option in Europe, IMO), but the best way to do it is to use a tool like hunter.io to find the email addresses of general partners at top firms, and (I can't stress this enough) send them qualified dealflow with your high-level analysis (I'll also add more detail below).
