Audacity is fine to edit with. The learning curve can be frustrating but you’ll get there. Learn noise reduction and amplify (to reduce breath sounds). For transcripts, I use Descript. Descript is able to identify all four of our panel members, and I usually spend an hour or so cleaning it up and setting the transcript into a video for YouTube. Source: about 1 year ago
