Audirvana is simply "install-and-play-anything" kind of SW and even with native DAC in Macbook Air (early 2015), it sounds absolutly amazing. ProRes and DNxHD/HR are essentially similar editing codecs. The OP can literally create ProRes clips using Shutter Encoder.
