The USB-C port (even on the non-pro) supports Display Port though, which I think can be quite useful if you pair it with an external mouse and keyboard and have apps that support "extended screen" mode [0]. For example I know of https://shiftscreen.app which is like a fake desktop environment, and the Microsoft RDP client added it last week.
