It's been a couple years since I last looked into audiobooks.com, but I recall that Audible had the advantage on selection and also by having the (limited) option of returning books. The option to return books was pretty important to me. Source: about 1 year ago

Audiobooks.com You get 1 credit a month, which can either be used to purchase a book (that you can listen to any time) or you can use it for a 1 month membership to an all you can listen to club. They have several clubs - Romance, Religion, Mystery, etc, and for that month you can listen to as many books as you want that are included in that club.
