Audiobooks.com VS Audible

Can someone tell me how audiobooks.com works?lol I signed up to try it out but I don't know how to use credit, it only allows me to play sample or buy it for 28$. Source: 11 months ago

It's been a couple years since I last looked into audiobooks.com, but I recall that Audible had the advantage on selection and also by having the (limited) option of returning books. The option to return books was pretty important to me. Source: about 1 year ago

Try a different supplier? Not sure what there is in the US. My alternative is audiobooks.com or Scribd. You could also try the library, I know some of them rent audiobooks. Source: over 1 year ago

Audiobooks.com You get 1 credit a month, which can either be used to purchase a book (that you can listen to any time) or you can use it for a 1 month membership to an all you can listen to club. They have several clubs - Romance, Religion, Mystery, etc, and for that month you can listen to as many books as you want that are included in that club. Are you located in Canada? I am located in Canada and I had the same issue the a couple days ago; turns out the website I was trying to log into was "audible.com" instead of "audible.ca"- so I went to "audible.ca" instead of "audible.com", logged in, and that fixed it. Source: 5 months ago

Well, I got a new phone and I when I log in with my email, it simply wont show me my account stats or the 62 books I have in my library. I have checked and it is set to the right marketplace, audible.com ... Source: 5 months ago

I wanted to see what these virtual voice books were and couldn't find anything. It seems like Canada like everything else (sales, promos, discounts etc) was overlooked and we haven't gotten any of these (that I've seen). That being said, good this sounds horrible. Yep. Although all the kindle books I bought on amazon.ca are whispersync compatible with my audiobook wishlist on my no longer active audible.com account. If I'm willing to pay the price listed + conversion to Canadian amount which makes the book more expensive. Whatever 7.49$ USD converted to CND is. That's why I moved my books to the Canadian marketplace so I could stop paying 14.95$ USD converted into CND which... Source: 5 months ago

Despite all the technical stuff, my aim is always to make it sound as though we're sitting in front of that fire and you're being told a story. One of the best compliments I can receive is, "I forgot that I was being read to", or "he didn't get in the way of the story", which is an actual comment from an audible.com listener.
