I personally have a probably 500 or so print cookbooks - it was frustration with not being able to search that led me to start ckbk. Space and practicality are certainly also important factors. I've seen more than one photo of a domestic disaster where someone's collection of overloaded and precariously balanced stacks/shelves of cookbooks give way leading to an avalanche!
