I switched from using static .mp4 files to HLS video-on-demand streaming with adaptive bitrates - that way the videos should watchable even though users have bad connection speed. The page uses webrtc to establish a udp connection with an amazon kinesis video service, the client sends your input and it streams a video back. Very overengineered to prevent spies from viewing the 3d models, presumably. I guess it also would work on old devices that can't display 3d. Source: over 1 year ago
