  1. Best platform to find remote work

Finally a platform that was built specifically for remote workers. I tried many different tools in the last 6 months after being laid off from my previous work. I wanted to transition to remote work, and I didn't know where to start. I was referred to https://wfh.team by another recruiter. The first thing I loved about WFH, was that I didn't have to apply for any job. It took me 5 minutes to create my profile, and upload my resume. I started getting multiple interview requests within a week, and after 3 weeks, I found the job I wanted. If I ever want to find another remote job, wfh.team is the only place I'll go to.

    👍 Pros:    Ease of use|Free|User-friendly

  • Dating a 33 year old guy who doesn't have a car & lives with his parents?
I make $2,000 per month after tax, healthcare and 401K. I pay car insurance, private student loans (and federal will come due soon), phone bill, gas and a gym membership, totaling $1,140 / month. This leaves me with $860. The usual standard is 30% of my income ($800 max) which, according to apartmentlist.com for a 1/1, does not exist in my state. Looking at Zillow, I can confirm this. Cheapest 1/1 apartment is... Source: 10 months ago
  • Implications of Shelter Methodology on CPI, Fed Policy, and Economy
"Shelter" which is comprised of "Rent" and "Owners Equivalent Rent" (OER) has a 35% weighting in the headline CPI number - higher in the Core CPI number. In May, the BLS reported YoY Shelter inflation of +8.0% which was comprised of +8.7% on Rent and +8.0% on OER. Alternatively, Zillow reported that average home prices are only up +2.0% and Redfin is saying that they're down -1.0%. ApartmentList.com said that rent... Source: 10 months ago
  • Are the Facebook sublet groups the only legitimate housing option?
The apartment database sites (padmapper.com, apartmentlist.com, zeus, blueground etc) are apparently super unreliable and are scams, and the apartments I've found (Blackbird, Elise, Equity Residential, Grand Parc, etc) are apparently the same. The sites/buildings that I do hear relatively good things about (77H, Sonder, VRBO, AirBnb) are out of my price range (<$2200 for a studio) or aren't short-term enough (2... Source: 12 months ago
  • Moving to Minneapolis, what are some good places to live?
So I am a soon-to-be college graduate and am going to be moving to Minneapolis in June and have begun to look for apartments. Are there any recommendations for apartment complexes or places to live? For reference, I will be working close to the Cedar Hurst area. I found a couple of places like Hello apartments and Deco 265 apartments on apartmentlist.com but wasn't sure about anything yet. Source: about 1 year ago
  • Off-Campus Apartments
Thanks for the suggestion! I've been looking on apartmentlist.com which seems a lot like apartments.com. Regardless, I'll check it out. Thanks again! Source: over 1 year ago

  • Looking to partner up in my recruiting agency platform!
What do you think about platforms like https://www.supportshepherd.com/ ? Since I created my platform with a focus on remote work, the majority of the candidates who signs up on wfh.team are from outside the US. I know supportshepherd is making a lot of money and I'm personally very interested in that market. Source: 10 months ago
  • Looking to partner up in my recruiting agency platform!
Hi all. I have an interesting proposition. I've built a recruiting agency platform. It's a full-featured website where candidates can sign up and create their profiles for free, and companies can see those profiles and reach out to those candidates. There are plenty of automations implemented in the platform that allows me to keep it running with less than 10 minutes of work a day. It currently has $0 revenue... Source: 10 months ago
