Apartment Guide VS Realtor

Have you looked at apartmentguide.com? You're going to be hard pressed to find a decent 2-bedroom for $1600 in Henrico. Try looking in Chesterfield County. It might be cheaper there. Source: 12 months ago

Apartmentguide.com and apartments.com are very useful, and Trulia has been helpful while looking at houses to rent. You are REALLY going to want to come out for a couple days and look around though. That's the only way to find something that you will feel comfortable in. You can have some sketchy ass places right across the street from some nice places and they'll both be similar in pricing. Any of the major sites: Zillow, Truilia, Apartmentslist, will have all the corporate owned places and a good majority of the smaller but professionally managed condos, etc. FB market place and Craigslist I've personally found to be where the majority of basement/ADU's are found. I lived in Albuquerque 30+ years ago and it was really nice. Clean, quiet, great public transit, nice people, safe. I've heard it's not so great now. For about 15 years I've been checking realtor.com for a place in Santa Fe if I ever when the lottery. I like the Eldorado community. Source: 5 months ago

PS, I know zillow.com and realtor.com leads exist and have had success with those, but those leads can cost 35% which is insane and I'd rather pivot away from them over time. Source: 6 months ago

I used realtor.com. Realtor.com and trulia.com are updated from the MLS, and Zillow takes a bit longer to update. I have found though that Zillow tends to have better history of the homes. Source: 7 months ago
