Apache Karaf with OSGi works pretty nice using annotation based dependency injection with the declarative services, removing the need to mess with those hopefully archaic XML blueprints. Too bad it's not as trendy as spring and the developers so many of the tutorials can be a bit dated and hard to find. For example areena.yle.fi, it has videos that are geoblocked from everyone outside of Finland and videos are hosted at various other sites. Adding areena.yle.fi to my exclusion list doesn't help, the videos still don't work. I have tried this with Surfshark and vpn.ac, I have to disable VPN completely to get the videos working. I would recommend you to get FLINT from gl-inet. It supports both OpenVPN and Wireguard. I am using it with ProtonVPN, tested it with mullvad and vpn.ac as well. Source: almost 2 years ago

I moved from vpn.ac to Astrill a few years ago and I have no regrets. It may be a bit more expensive than the others but is a VPN really something that you want to go cheap on? You can try express. A friend of mine uses something called shadowsocks which isn't exactly a vpn but it is ... I didn't understand it. Just pay the money and get a reliable vpn bud lol. Source: about 2 years ago
