Antix Reviews

  1. Experienced with very very old laptop

I am beginner user of linux, routinely using linux Mint in place of windows. In Antix I could not able to install deb files, easily, Even not able to get prompt directly from file browser.

Definitely run well in less powerful machine. Did not find any drivers issue. I have use external monitor since laptop display was not functional. Pre installed office suite and other software. Got a software stores kind of option able install from there.

    🏁 Competitors: Puppy Linux
👎 Cons:    Needs little experience for beginners

  • I need to buy a desktop pc. Probably Microsoft - I bought a pc not long ago for around £200 and it’s so poor - takes ages to load web pages. Any recommendations for a good price range/model that will be future proof and won’t turn poor on me? Literally need it for emails + checking the web
