If you wan't to make sure your files don't get distributed to AVs use other options like antiscan.me. The reason I use antiscan.me is because when im testing my malwares detectability I don't wan't to provide AVs samples of my malware, to avoid further detections. Source: over 1 year ago
I wondered the same thing with really basic stuff done just to learn for the 1st times. Defender was certainly toughest of em all... But then I found out, every time even if VirusTotal or antiscan.me showed 0 detections, Defender immediately at least did in reality stop every attempt with real-time protection enabled at least, probably due to its heuristics and behavior scanning. Https://www.malwarebytes.com try this antimalware there is a free version just for scanning and thats all you need or you can go to bitdefender.com and try there just go to the free tools and get them if those dont pick anything up try superantispyware.com should work and delete anything you have on your pc that is malware.
