Use multi-AV scanners that don't share their submissions like antiscan.me. Source: about 3 years ago
From best to worst: 1. hybrid-analysis.com 2. any.run 3. virustotal.com 4. antiscan.me. Source: over 3 years ago
If you wan't to make sure your files don't get distributed to AVs use other options like antiscan.me. The reason I use antiscan.me is because when im testing my malwares detectability I don't wan't to provide AVs samples of my malware, to avoid further detections. Source: over 3 years ago
I wondered the same thing with really basic stuff done just to learn for the 1st times. Defender was certainly toughest of em all... But then I found out, every time even if VirusTotal or antiscan.me showed 0 detections, Defender immediately at least did in reality stop every attempt with real-time protection enabled at least, probably due to its heuristics and behavior scanning. Thanks man! Are you aware of better alternative for antiscan.me? Source: over 3 years ago
Scanning the stuff I tried on antiscan.me showed it was undetected by the AV's at least by signature but the heuristics / behavior analysis got me. So since the virustotal report shows such a high detection rate there's absolutely no way Defender would ever let that actually happen, unless it has been tampered with by some other malicious software before - but that's cheating lol. I 100% know Defender can be super nagging and irritating but it's also extremely good at what it does very difficult to get past. I've managed to obfuscate and bypass other AV's with 0/60 detection on antiscan.me but still haven't been able to get past the heuristics and behavior detection of Defender. Source: over 3 years ago
If you ever decide to develop real malware and not toy mockups use antiscan.me and virustotal.com (never use this one if you get real serious about malware development since it distributes results to AV providers) and you will find out how Defender compares to the others. Source: over 3 years ago
Antiscan.me -- online multi-AV checker. Does not submit samples to AV vendors, unlike virustotal (which you should never ever use when testing your payloads, as VT does share with vendors, which means they'll analyse your payloads and add sigs to detect them). Source: over 3 years ago
Still have a sub for a couple of months on bitdefender total so I can test things on it. If you make "test" malware,virus... You can use https://antiscan.me/ others were https://nodistribute.com, https://spyralscanner.net and so on........... Those websites scan but don't share any info with antivirus companies. I created an executable that passed all 26 AVs on antiscan.me and don't want to tweak anything out of fear that I'll add something that sets off the alarms. Source: over 4 years ago
I recommend using antiscan to test your payloads so, they're not shared amongst AV vendors - https://antiscan.me/. Source: over 4 years ago
