An advantage of this approach is that it lets us utilize any CSS animation library that works off of the same concept of adding and removing classes. The Character Creator has a license wherein if you use it for non-commercial products (ie - a free game) you can do whatever more or less, and if you are using them for a commercial product a license to do so starts at $5.
