To maximize learning, I could choose something new. Normally, I consider that a valid reason. But given my limited time, that wasn't a priority for me. Another criterion could be long-term viability: Is there a large core team and an active community? Well, who still remembers AngularJS? From Google? And didn’t Facebook/Meta start Jest? I wouldn’t rely too much on that. - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
AngularJS is an open-source JavaScript framework that developers use to build frontend applications. It comes with modular support, an extensive community, and all the tools that help develop and manage dynamic frontend web apps. - Source: dev.to / 4 months ago
Ok, what we'll use now is something that existed back in the day, after we switched from AngularJS to Angular 2 or modern Angular. We'll use the old/new host property on the component decorator. - Source: dev.to / 10 months ago
Just to give you more context, I led the migration of several AngularJS applications to the newer Angular Framework. My client finally decided to make that move following the AngularJS deprecation announcement (stay up to date please 🙏)️. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
The next post in the series provides a thorough comparison of popular frameworks like React, Vue, Angular, and Svelte, focusing on their unique features and suitability for different project types. - Source: dev.to / about 1 year ago
This is just a brief introduction into Svelte but there is so much more and all can be learned with ease. Wes Bos is such a great resource on the topic and I encourage you to check out his podcast Syntax and his tutorials page as well. Svelte also has a Discord with a great community. I hope this article launches you to take a deeper dive into the framework. - Source: dev.to / over 2 years ago
LevelUp Tutorials Scott Tolinski's project, he has a great delivery in his video courses. His business model is slightly different from Wes'. You pay a monthly fee and get access to all his courses. Scott is prolific author whilst maintaining a good quality. - Source: dev.to / about 3 years ago
Hi! I really like Scott Tolinski’s React classes. Scott also does a podcast with another great dev, Wes Bos called “Syntax”, which is the best podcast on front end I’ve heard yet. Source: about 3 years ago
I recommend watching tons of tutorials (youtube, wes bos, level up tuts, frontend masters) to build sample apps, then once you've built the sample, you rebuild another app on your own with similar functionality but actually serves some kind of personal purpose. Having cool, practical apps that you've created makes you stand out as a dev candidate when you go to get a job. Source: about 3 years ago
All of our subscription https://leveluptutorials.com/ is on sale and has a ton of React content like React 3D, and tons of beginner and intermediate stuff. Source: over 3 years ago
