  • Observations on MLOps–A Fragmented Mosaic of Mismatched Expectations
Damn straight. Oh, wait, some vendors have claimed to build an end-to-end solution. But, meh, that’s marketing talk. Take, for example, a well-known platform like Amazon Sagemaker, which describes itself as “a fully managed service that brings together a broad set of tools to enable high-performance, low-cost machine learning (ML) for any use case.” It’s a great platform. My startup has even partnered with them.... - Source: dev.to / about 1 month ago
  • Sentiment Analysis with PubNub Functions and HuggingFace
At this point, probably everyone has heard about OpenAI, GPT-4, Claude or any of the popular Large Language Models (LLMs). However, using these LLMs in a production environment can be expensive or nondeterministic regarding its results. I guess that is the downside of being good at everything; you could be better at performing one specific task. This is where HuggingFace can utilized. • Some information about the Creation Kit changes for Starfield.
Aside from that The Forge is also: https://theforge.dev/ They're contractors who can help with building engines or updating them. Pretty sure a while back when we learned The Forge was used, research indicated the only thing they had helped with was Vulcan support as that's all they said they'd done on their portfolio where they listed BGS. Source: over 1 year ago
  • Discussion Thread
We know they're overhauling almost every aspect of the engine (E3 trailer was essentially a demo of Creation Engine 2) and they've hired a ton of talent specifically for that initiative. One example off the top of my head, the hired the lead animations engineer from Saints Row IV to rebuild that system. They're apparently also working with the Forge team on some of the engine stuff. • Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox Series X|S - An Excellent Port Of An Ultra-Spec PC Experience
Bethesda hired The Forge to work on the engine. https://theforge.dev this was discovered on their GitHub page where they slid in that they worked on the engine. https://github.com/ConfettiFX/The-Forge. Source: almost 3 years ago
  • Are you a licensed developer for consoles? Want them to support Godot out of the box so you don't rely on a third party? Please let Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft that you would appreciate them financing this support.
I'm trust this API more than Godot because it has been use by Super Giants to create Hades which won many awards and become popular game. Also Forge team work with many AAA company.
