  • What does the clipping group do in aggie.io ?
And then if I hit " toggle clipping group" in aggie.io, it looks exactly the same. Source: almost 2 years ago

Depending on the kind of information being shared I'd either go with Google Sheets for a shared Excel experience, or Aggie.io for a shared Photoshop experience at the other end of things. Source: almost 2 years ago
  • stupid thing me and my friend made :)
Context no one asked for: we were messing around in aggie.io and I drew Medic and Scout, then told my friend to add whatever they wanted inside Medic's speech bubble, lol :D. Source: about 2 years ago

  • Please help a beginner learn strategy for 1v1s
Hi everyone, I'm a beginner catan player. I play exclusively 1v1s against a friend but they always beat me. (Currently playing 1v1s on colonist.io to practice) I know the basics of the game like all the cards and ways to get points. I've tried the ore/wheat strategy and the 2:1 port strategy but I don't know which strategies to use when and how to use them effectively. I always seem to fall behind in one aspect... • We built an entire game with graphics almost exclusively generated by DALL-E 3 (open source)
There are many other commercial projects similar to this (colonist.io landover.io etc). None of them are open source though. This has been done in the past extensively (see freeciv.org, or Terasology, or 0 AD etc). Source: 6 months ago
  • Asking to disable AdBlock, still won't start
I have whitelisted "colonist.io" on both tracking related Firefox extensions, I use since a long time – no classic adblocker, one is DuckDuckGo privacy, the other is "I don't care abot cookies". So I get served ads on the site, all worked well for weeks. But now it says I have to "disable abblocker"... (Downloading another browser is not an option for me.). Source: 10 months ago
  • How to Do Great Work
You seem passionate about it, so you should definitely keep going > Hasbro is litigious > I’m not going to charge without getting sue I don't think this is a thing ? There's this website which is a web Catan game ( https://colonist.io/ ) which is at least as niche as Scrabble, and they seem to be doing well. - Source: Hacker News / 11 months ago
  • PSA : Unless you track your plays, you have probably played a game less than you think
Four player games against bots at https://colonist.io/ . TBH, the games would go a lot faster if the bots were faster. Source: 11 months ago
