Agenda Reviews

  1. Pretty but SO limited

There's no Find and Replace option. Even Apple Notes can do this. It is hard to navigate. Maybe it is just good for people who are project managers, but I need to manage my whole life.

  • The case for an Agenda-Oriented UpNote: drawing inspiration from competitors
While exploring similar apps in the market (I recently got an iPhone XS), I stumbled upon two competitors that caught my attention: Agenda (https://agenda.com/) and Noteplan (https://noteplan.co/). Both these apps offer some remarkable features that, if integrated into UpNote, could take it to the next level. Allow me to share my thoughts and ignite a productive discussion within our user community. Source: 10 months ago
  • Note Taking Solution for Information Overload!
Specific solutions would vary based on what OS you use. If you use a Mac, I would strongly suggest looking at NotePlan. Agenda is a competitor and Mac only as well. Source: 12 months ago
  • Are subscriptions the doom of the tech sector?
Subscriptions for simple usage only make sense for a true service with an ongoing cost to the provider; cloud storage, email, movie streaming, etc. A subscription for a general-purpose application is incongruous; you’re purchasing a finished product with no ongoing costs, like a pair of shoes or a book, and it should cost a one-off fee that reflects the cost that went into producing it. The best model I’ve found is the Cash Cow model, as explained by the folks behind the Agenda app. Source: over 1 year ago
  • This is why I always come back to using Apple Notes over everything else.
I also tried Agenda which looked like a great alternative to noteplan, but it didn’t really “click” for me. The app is really well made and polished, and the developer actively maintains it, but still the way it works doesn’t tick my boxes. Source: over 1 year ago

  • Need help with notes app. For journal writing.
I use And Notes. Ideal for journalling. And it also has a feature called repeatable notes which allows you to track recurring events, like going to the gym, having a coffee, or cooking a meal. I find repeatable notes a very nice feature in addition to regular journalling. And it is designed from the start to give you insights allowing you to for example see how often you masturbated ;) Here is an intro video from... Source: over 1 year ago
  • Habit tracker / to do list app that makes you take a photo.
And Notes has the option to create Repeatable notes. I have a bunch of routine tagged notes, which I marked as Repeatable. So each time I complete the routine note I add a repeat event and attach a new note to it with an image! It gives you very awesome overviews of everything you have done. Furthermore the insights view is really nice! Long story short, it’s really cool, you can add images but it won’t force you... Source: over 1 year ago
